My name is Brent Barnes and I have coached high school wrestling for 31 years. In that time I have gathered numerous experiences and more importantly relationships. If I have learned one thing, coaching as like parenting in it’s purest form is a selfless endeavor. One of my favorite quotes that sums this sentiment up is “forget self and you will fear nothing.” by Carlos Castaneda. It would be a waste to not share my vast experiences with fellow coaches and leaders. The lessons and tenants we use to build culture, teams and programs have carry-over to all aspects of creating a winning formula.
